Dan founded Dribbble in 2009 with business partner, Rich Thornett in order to create a digital community and space for designers to connect. What started as a side project has turned into one of the largest and well-know social networks for designers. Dribbble offers feedback for creatives from creatives. It’s a platform for web designers, graphic designers, illustrators, icon artists, typographers, copy writers, logo designers etc. to showcase their work, inspire, collaborate and get hired. Dan says Dribbble is “helping people get noticed that might not have gotten noticed before.” It opens the lines of communication between creatives.

Long after the pixels are gone thats the stuff the people are going to remember.

In 2015, the Envato team caught up with the Salem, Mass native to learn about his interests and inspirations.

If you get one little opportunity somewhere to push you a little bit out of a comfort zone, just a little bit of a leap, I think that goes a long way to paving the way for more.
